A side street leads off Rruga Ismet Jashari Kumanova, named after a fighter of the Kosovo Liberation Army who fought against the Serbs in the war 20 years ago; in Yugoslav days it was named after Boris Kidrić (1912 - 1953), a leading Slovenian Communist and one of the chief organisers of the Partisan struggle in Slovenia from 1941 to 1945.
