Prizren, Kosovo's most Oriental City

Along Halveti Tekke

Shops along a street leading to the Lumbardhi river, in the old town of Prizren. The building with the four windows is the Halveti Tekke, a 350 year old “tariqa” or school of Sufism, a mystic form of Islam. In the background the minaret of the Sinan Pasha mosque.
