Jeongjeon shrine

The Jeongjeon, where ancestral tablets are kept of the Joseon kings and their consorts at the Jongmyo Shrine, initially built in 1394-1395 during the rule of King Taejo, the first king and founding father of the Joseon Dynasty. The tablets are kept behind the closed doors.
