Jongmyo Daeje

The “Jingo”, a large barrel drum, in the “Heonga” orchestra on the lower terrace of the Yeongnyeongjeon, the Hall of Eternal Peace. Among the Jeryeak (ritual music) numbers, 11 pieces of Botaepyeong (music accompanying civil servant dancing) and 11 pieces of Jeongdaeeop (music accompanying dance of military nature) were composed personally by King Sejong to pray for national security and prosperity.
