Gyeongsangnam-do, South Gyeongsang Province, in the southeast of South Korea; the name Gyeongsang meanins “joyous furthermore” and it is the home of Haeinsa, a Buddhist temple that houses the Tripitaka Koreanain the national park around Jirisan; it has also automobile and petrochemical factories, largely along the southern part of the province, Its former flag had a design in blue and yellow.
