Presidential Standard, 2013

In 2013 the first general elections under the new constitution with limited presidential powers were held, and Uhuru Kenyatta, a son of Kenya’s first president Jomo Kenyatta, won the presidency. The Presidential Standard of Uhuru Kenyatta, who assumed office on 9 April 2013, features, on a blue background, a Maasai shield, two spears and a white dove.
