Eternal Rome, Italy’s capital
The Piazza del Campidoglio, on Capitoline Hill, one of the seven hills of Rome, was designed by Renaissance artist and architect Michelangelo Buonarroti in 1538 and is bounded by three palaces. On the left is the Palazzo Nuovo and at the rear the Palazzo dei Senatori.
