Mass at the tomb

A priest reads Mass in the crypt at the tomb of Saint Nicholas, the 3rd century patron saint of sailors and children, in the Basilica San Nicola in Bari, where in 1087 part of his remains were brought by sailors from Myra, in present-day Turkey. The remaining bones were later collected by Venetian sailors during the First Crusade.
