Paphos, the south-west of Cyprus

Tombs of the Kings, Paphos

One of the Tombs of the Kings, featuring Doric columns. These underground tombs are thought to have been the burial sites of local aristocrats and high officials up to the third century CE and at times imitated the houses of the living. No kings were buried here.
