Byzantine chapel, Saint Hilarion Castle

The Byzantine chapel on the middle ward of Saint Hilarion Castle. It was originally a monastery, named after a monk who allegedly chose the site for his hermitage. In the 10th century, a monastery and a church were built here. The Byzantines started fortifications in the 11th century.
