Taşkent cemetery

The cemetery of Taşkent (Vouna), where the victims are buried of the “Taşkent Massacre” of 15 August 1974 when Greeks massacred Turkish Cypriots. The village of Vouno was renamed “Taşkent” after the village with that name (Tochni) in what is now the Greek side, from where most victims came.
