The Eastern Karpas Peninsula

Basilica of Agia Triada

The Basilica of Agia Triada ruins. It dates back to the end of the 5th century CE and the beginning of the 6th century. Arab raids destroyed the basilica towards the middle of the 7th century, and a small church with some additional buildings was constructed to its south. The basilica was never used again as those other buildings were also destroyed in the 9th-10th century.
