'Raices' sculptures, near Viñales

One of the sculptures by Noel Diaz Gala, in a series known as “Raices” (Roots), on a low hill about 4 kilometres west of Viñales. The sculptures are mostly of persons and animals, rather fantastic, including religious elements. He does not damage the environment to do his work, since he uses the trees that have fallen by themselves.
