Santiago de Cuba, the second-largest Cuban city

View from San Pedro de la Roca Castle

View of the Bahía de Santiago de Cuba from the Castillo de San Pedro de la Roca (Castillo del Morro), a fortress on the coast about 10 kilometres southwest of the centre of Santiago de Cuba. The little island is Cayo Granma with its red-roofed wooden houses – many of them on stilts above the water - that guard a traditional fishing community.
