Bas relief on a wall at the entrance of Empresa Cerveceria Hatuey Santiago, the brewers of Hatuey Beer, named after Hatuey, a Taíno Cacique (chief) who raised a Taíno army to fight the Spanish and is celebrated as “Cuba’s First National Hero”. He is depicted as offering beer to the Spanish!
