Baracoa, Cuba’s oldest and most isolated town

Altar, Baracoa Cathedral

The altar of the Our Lady of the Assumption Co-Cathedral (Concatedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción); it was originally built in 1807, was partially damaged in 1833 and renovated almost entirely in 1886. It was recently renovated and restored again.
