Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia, 1868

In 1867 the Austro-Hungarian Dual Monarchy was established. A year later, the Austrians reached a settlement with Hungary in which the Kingdoms of Slavonia and Croatia, separate Habsburg Crown Lands, were united into the single Kingdom of Croatia-Slavonia. Its flag was a red-white-blue tricolour, combining the colours of Croatia (red and white) with those of Slavonia (blue and white).
