Chewing coca

A mine worker chewing coca leaves at the entrance to Cerro Rico mine, before going underground. The miners chew huge amounts of coca leaves while they work, warding off hunger and keeping the body stimulated in the high altitude (well over 4,000 metres) and harsh conditions.
