Boys from Djarragun College perform the “Kab Kar”, a traditional dance from Mer (Murray Island) in the eastern Torres Strait Islands, at the Townsville Cultural Fest. They wear the “dhari” headdress made with cockatoo feathers. This was the very first time these boys performed this complex traditional dance.
