Aboriginal Rock Art from Kakadu National Park

Canvas of paintings

A large canvas of paintings, including that of a white man, hands in his pockets, possibly a buffalo hunter from the 1880s. There are also fish and a turtle, painted in the “X-ray style”, showing bones and internal organs, at the Ubirr Art site at Ubirr (Obiri Rock) in the north east of Kakadu National Park.
