Aboriginal Ceremonies Central Australia - Ngajakula
Ceremonial wooden “kurdiji”, (shields) and a “mangaya” ceremonial object with decorations relating to snake dreaming, prepared for a “Ngajakula” or “Kurangarra” ceremony in Lajamanu. Designs are painted and stuck on with “wamurlu” wild cotton, dyed with red ochre.
