Aboriginal Ceremonies Central Australia - Ngajakula

Ngarlu dreaming

During a “Ngajakula” ceremony in Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory, men dance with decorated wooden shields associated with “Ngarlu” (sugarbag or wild honey) dreaming. Their backs are painted with the same designs. Women dance around them.
