Aboriginal Ceremonies Central Australia - Ngajakula
A Japaljarri man being decorated by a Jangala man with a dreaming design relevant to his clan and the song cycle followed during a “Ngajakula” ceremony in Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. “Wamurlu”, a wild cotton down dyed with red ochre, is stuck onto the bodies of the dancers.
