Aboriginal Marndiwala Initiation Ceremonies in Borroloola

A young Yanyuwa “daru” or initiate with his “boomerangs” made of bark that he will throw at men who then will have to dance for him at his ceremony. He has one thumb hooked in his hair belt in the proper way of a “daru”.
