Women dance, “mangaya”

Warlpiri Women dance around a “mangaya”, a ceremonial effigy, during a traditional “Jardiwanpa” ceremony in Lajamanu. They use decorated wooden sticks and a “kuturu” fighting stick is stuck in the ground.
