Hermannsburg Region of Central Australia

Cave, Tnorala

View from a cave at Tnorala or Gosse Bluff, a meteor crater formed 140 million years ago. The inner ring of 250 metre high hills has a diameter of about 5 kilometres. It is about 55 kilometres to the west of Hermannsburg Aboriginal community and has great ceremonial significance.
