Heritage buildings, Cooktown

Along Charlotte Street, the main street in Cooktown, with fine examples of colonial architecture: the Motor Inn Motel (now the Seagrens Inn) and the Bank of New South Wales Building (Westpac Bank Building), a heritage-listed former bank building. It was designed by Francis Drummond Greville Stanley and built from 1891 to 1891). This was in 1979.
