Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland

Nepalese pavilion

The wooden pavilion that was built by Nepalese craftsmen for the World Expo in 1988 on the South Bank along the Brisbane river. This is the only structure that was not dismantled after the world fair, as it was considered too beautiful, with its traditional carvings.
