Aboriginal Initiation Ceremonies from Central Australia
Mothers prepare their sons before they are taken from them for their initiation ceremony in Lajamanu, a Warlpiri Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory. They have been painted with red ochre and are wearing belts made of human hair.
