Kulyukulyu ceremony

Young dancers with clay plastered over their heads, decorated with cotton wool and leaves, act out part of the “Kulyukulyu” or Brolga ceremony of the Yanyuwa people in Borroloola. In this scene they are pulling a rope, an action the mythical brolga performed.
