Tirana, Albania’s capital

At the Pyramid

The Pyramid, the former Enver Hoxha Museum about the legacy of Enver Hoxha, the long-time leader of Communist Albania. It was co-designed by Hoxha's daughter Pranvera Hoxha, an architect, and her husband Klement Kolaneci and opened on 14 October 1988, three years after Hoxha's death. In 2007 it was a convention centre and decorated with Albanian and American flags with a portrait of U.S. President George Bush, who had just visited Tirana. The Bell of Peace is in the foreground.
