Skanderbeg's statue

The equestrian statue of Skanderbeg, Albania’s national hero (15th Century) on the main square that bears his name, Sheshi Skënderbej. It was created by Odhise Paskali, one of the most acclaimed Albanian sculptors, and inaugurated in 1968 on the 500th anniversary of Skanderbeg's death.
