Ruins of the castle on top of the Kruja citadel; the fortress was the stronghold of the national hero Skanderbeg (George Kastrioti) between 1443 and 1468 in his struggle against the Turks. At far right is the Dollma Teqe, a place of worship of the Bektashi branch of Islam.
