Korça, Eastern Albania’s main city

Cathedral tower and domes

The bell tower and domes of the Orthodox Cathedral “The Resurrection of Christ” (Katedralja Orthodhokse “Ringjallja e Krishtit”). It was built by Greece in 1995 to replace the Shën Gjergj (St. George) Orthodox Autocephalous Church of Albania, destroyed by the communist regime in 1968 in the town of Korça.
