Looking towards Vanderlin Island from Observation Island, one of the small islands in the Sir Edward Pellew group, in the south of the Gulf of Carpentaria. This land, near the mouth of the Macarthur River, belongs to the Yanyuwa people, most of whom now live in the town of Borroloola.
