Khiva, a former Khanate

Palace of Nurullah-bai

Nurullaboy Saroyi in the northwestern part of Dishan Qala, the historical “outside” city of Khiva, was built by Muhammad-Rahim-khan II for his son and heir Isfandiyar Khan from 1906-1912. It represents an eclectic mix of Khivan and European architecture.
