U Bein's foot bridge

The 1.2 kilometre wooden footbridge (longest teak bridge in the world) across Taungthaman Lake, built by the mayor U Bein who salvaged the unwanted teak columns from the old palace during the move of the capital from Amarapura to Mandalay.
