Dundgovi aimag

Dundgovi aimag

Dundgovi (Middle Gobi) province is, in spite of its name, actually in the northern part of the Gobi desert, about 240 kilometres south of Ulaanbaatar. Its flag is light-blue over yellow, with the blue stripe twice the width of the yellow one. The circular provincial emblem is placed at the upper hoist: a white winged horse with the three Buddhist jewels on an ornamental base, all fimbriated in gold, with above it the name ''Dundgovi'' in Cyrillic capitals.
