Kukrakbojeon, Sinheungsa

Buddhist monks at the Kukrakbojeon, the central building of the Sinheungsa temple, originally built in 1647, repaired in 1750 and 1821. It depicts the Buddhist Paradise through representations of the Amitabha Triad, with the Buddha flanked by Avalokiteśvara the merciful Goddess) on the left and Mahasthama-prata (the Wise Goddess) on the right.
