Stone Fresco of Xu Fu

In order to promote friendship with Seogwipo City, Qinhuangdao City in Behei Province, China, donated this stone fresco of Minister Xu Fu's Eastern Voyage. It was carved in 2008 and took 6 months to build. The painting depicts Emperor Qin in front of the imperial palace in Qinhuangdao commanding Minister Xu Fu to cross the sea with 600 male and female youths to find the elixir of life. The stone fresco is 2.6 metres in height, 4.3 metres in length and 25 centimetres thick.
