King Gyeongsun's portrait

A portrait of the last king of Silla, King Gyeongsun, who reigned from 927 to 935, at Gyeongju National Museum. After his surrender to King Taejo of Goryeo in 935, Gyeongju lost its status as capital city and this completed Taejo's unification of Korea (its modern name is derived from “Goryeo”)
