Korean wedding display

Display of a traditional Korean wedding at the Andong Folklore Museum: the bride. In traditional Korean culture the marriage partners were decided by the bride and grooms elders. As in Confucian values family and the customs of a family is placed above all, marriage was considered the most important passage in one's life as it was not only the union between two individuals but between two families.
