Tomb of Kim Yushin

The tomb of Kim Yushin or Gim Yu-sin (595–673), a general who led the unification of the Korean peninsula by Silla under the reign of King Muyeol and King Munmu. He is considered to be one of the most famous generals and masters of Korean swords in Korean history. Following his death on 18 August 673, General Kim was awarded the honorary title of King Heungmu, and was buried at the foot of Songhwa Mountain near Gyeongju in this tomb, as splendid as that of kings.
