Oegyujngga, Royal Library

Oegyujngga, the Royal Library of what remains of Goryeongungji Palace in Ganghwa-eup; it was built in 1782 but looted and destroyed in 1866 by French troops, who invaded Korea in response to the execution of nine French Catholic missionaries.
