Abyssinia, Italian East Africa, 1936

During the Fascist Italian occupation of Ethiopia until 1941, Emperor Haile Selassie lived in exile in the United Kingdom and the Italian king, Vittorio Emmanuele III, had proclaimed himself Emperor of Ethiopia. The Italian State flag featured the crown of the House of Savoy, which ruled Italy from 1861 to 1946.
