Santiago de Cuba, the second-largest Cuban city

View from Santiago de Cuba Cathedral

The view from the western tower of the Cathedral to the Casa de Don Diego Velázquez, on Parque Céspedes, dating from 1522, the oldest house still standing in Cuba; now it is the Museo de Ambiente Histórico Cubano, the historical museum. In the background is the harbour of Santiago de Cuba, the railway station and beyond that the Cementerio Santa Ifigenia.
