William Ricketts Sanctuary

A sculpture of an Aboriginal man and boy by William Ricketts (1898 - 1993) in what is now William Ricketts Sanctuary in the Dandenong Ranges. The sculptor made frequent trips into Central Australia to live with Pitjantjatjara and Arrernte Aboriginal people, whose traditions and culture inspired his sculptures.
