Previous Sydney - Australia's First City

The famous Sydney Opera House, one of the twentieth century's architectural masterpieces, designed by the Danish architect Jørn Utzon, was completed in 1973 and officially opened in 1979. It sits on Bennelong Point in the Harbour.
