Melbourne, capital of Victoria

In Cook's Cottage

The kitchen and dining area in Cook's Cottage, the home of Captain James Cook's parents, built in Yorkshire in 1755, dismantled, shipped to Australia, re-assembled in Melbourne's Fitzroy Gardens and officially opened in 1934 to celebrate Victoria's centenary.
