Aboriginal Marndiwala Initiation Ceremonies in Borroloola

A boy bites on the knuckle of a finger of an older boy, to break the silence between them after the latter danced for the initiate at his “Marndiwala” initiation ceremony in Borroloola. Before this little ritual they could not speak to each other.
